Our Story

Shan Cheng (山城), meaning “City of Mountains,” was founded by Ipoh-born sisters Elaine and Cheryl Tioh to share the comforting flavours of their mother’s hawker recipes.

Since 2011, Shan Cheng has served authentic Ipoh dishes like Shredded Chicken Horfun, Curry Noodles, and Ipoh White Coffee – made with ingredients imported directly from Ipoh to preserve the true taste of home.
